Magrath Golf Club thanks you for being a member. As such, you are entitled to
discounts on Pro Shop merchandise, on food and on range balls!
Our goal is to provide a great experience for everyone while on the course, in the
Pro Shop and in the Club House.

We appreciate your utmost co-operation in following our Club policies and rules.

1. Pace of play is 4 hours and 15 minutes. Please keep up to the group ahead of you. Please
play ready golf.

2. Pro shop instructions and course signage must be obeyed at all times.

3. Payment of Membership fees for the current season must be received no later than
April 30th.

4. Age classifications:

  • Junior membership is for youth 17 years of age and under. (Ages 17 and under have restricted booking of Tee Times after 1:00pm on weekends and statutory holidays unless accompanied by an adult.)
  • Student membership is for Post Secondary students.
  • Intermediate membership is for adults age 18 to 30.
  • Couple membership is for married or common-law adults.
  • Family membership is for a married or common-law couple and their children ages 17 years and under.
  • Senior membership is for adults 60 years and over.

5. Corporate memberships include golf 7 days per week with full booking privileges and
access to the Mens & Ladies leagues. 4 person Corporate also includes Hole signage.

  • 2 person corporate is for 2 golfers once per day.
  • 4 person corporate is for 4 golfers once per day.
  • Corporate members must provide the Pro Shop with the contact names of those who will be booking tee times (2 primary and two alternate contacts). Only tee times booked by those contacts will be honoured.

6. To prevent damage to course equipment, sunflower seeds are not allowed.

7. No outside alcohol is allowed.

8. All compliments, suggestions and concerns should be forwarded in writing to the Board
President through the Head Pro.

Local Rules of Play

  1. R.C.G.A rules govern all play except as modified by local rules.
  2. Out of Bounds: defined by white stakes or any club property fence.
  3. Water Hazards: red stakes define lateral hazards, yellow stakes define water hazards.
  4. Obstructions: screens on #7 & #13 and steps on #10, bridges, pathways, sprinkler heads, 150 yard markers: rule 24-2; relief plus one club length no nearer the hole (no penalty).
  5. Overhead Wires: a ball striking overhead wires on #9, #13, #16 must be relayed without penalty.

Magrath Golf Club Etiquette Guidelines:

  1. Pace of Play 4 hrs. 15 min.
  2. Slow players must wave faster groups through
  3. Power carts must stay on paths wherever cart paths are provided. Power carts MUST be kept 20 yards from greens.
  4. No outside alcohol is permitted on golf course property. This will not be tolerated
  5. Please repair ballmarks on green, rake sand traps and replace divots.
  6. Please keep pull carts off tees and green.
  7. Any violation of the above rules will not be tolerated. Please respect our wonderful golf course.
  8. Please combat slow play and keep pace with the group ahead of you!
